Hello, hello, hello, book lovers!!!

As you can see (and as usual) I’m late in the “Favorite books of 2016” party! LOL

Last year I planned to post my favorites each month, but the year completely swalled me, specially the second semester!

But I’m back, again!!! I have some projects for this year and a second blog (in Portuguese) coming! I’m also still IN LOVE with “bookstagramming” (if you’re on Instagram, follow me there! @beautyandthebeastlybooks)!!

I have 30 favorite books, which may seem a lot for a list of favorites, but I ended up reading 401 books in 2016 ( the goal for this year is officially 450, but I’ll try for 500). So my number of favorites is less than 10% of what I read, so it’s not that many!!

Here they are in the order I read them:

  • Unhinge by Calia Read4.5 stars: I loved loved this book! I loved Unravel (the first book – also a standalone) and Victoria and her story really intrigued me when she was mentioned in it Her story though…We have hints of what it be through Unhinge, but in the end there are a LOT of surprises coming our way! Victoria’s story might not be as dark as the one in Unravel, but the twists and turns will definitely keep you on your toes! Calia is a GREAT writer!

  • Dirty Ugly Toy by K. Webster5 stars: I was completely HOOKED on this book from page 1. I couldn’t stop reading it for anything and it was an AMAZING story! K. Webster definitely impressed me and won a ticket to my auto-clicks. Her writing is so good and even though we might have seen so many stories in that corner of the dark sub-genre, her story is so unique and fresh! I absolutely LOVED reading this book and recommended it to all my friends and every one of them who has read it agreed with me!

  • Dawn of Forever by Jewel E. Ann5 stars: This book was so amazing! It was the PEFECT conclusion to Jessica and her brother’s story. It was packed with action and so enlightining! This series were my first books by Jewel E. Ann and she definitely impressed me! All of them featured my lists of favorites. Dawn of Forever is a story so original, so emotional and so well written! A fresh story by an author I’m definitely keeping my eyes on!!

  • This is War, Baby by K. Webster5 stars: For me this book a perfect story of second chances. Not really a second chance love, but how a character (or more than one) has a second chance at happiness. I absolutley LOVED this books. It’s a dark, mind f*** story with some twists I didn’t see coming and I could feel myself falling more and more in love with the story and with War, of course. I definitely didn’t see that coming!

  • Sparrow by L.J. Shen5 stars: I LOVED Sparrow! It’s the first book by L.J. Shen I’ve read and it won’t be the last. I don’t consider it a dark book, but it is a mafia one, which isn’t a genre I’m particularly interested in, but in this case I’m really glad I read it!!

  • Undeniably You by Jewel E. Ann 5 stars: I have a feeling Jewel will be one of the most featured authors in my favorites list this year! I was so surprised (positively) by this book! I wasn’t expecting the level of tension, ansgt and all the feels it gave me! It’s one of those book you simply HAVE to read to understand how much it makes you feel! Absolutely LOVED it!!

  • Unseen Messages by Pepper Winters4.5 stars: This book is so different than Pepper’s previous books, yet it is still a Pepper Winters book. Filled with her talented way to tell a story. This book was real, different and absolutely beautiful. It made me cry and smile. It’s an incredible story! Stelle and Galloway’s beautiful journey will transport you inside the pages of this book and you won’t want to leave!! Beautifully written and captivating from the start to the end!

  • Sweetest Venom (Virtue #2) by Mia Asher5 stars: Mia Asher was brilliant writing this book! We waited a long time for the sequel to Easy Virtue, but it did not disappoint! Mia gave us what her book and characters needed. It was real, honest and it left me with a big smile on my face when I finished reading it just a few hours after starting it. Mia writes angst like no one and she gets the right ammount the story needs and doesn’t overdo it! It was perfect. The perfect ending to Blaire’s story! It was truly her story and I loved seeing her maturing through the story. It was bittersweet and beautiful to read this book!

  • Turbulence by Whitney G.5 stars:  This book was AMAZING! It was definitely worth the wait and I’m really happy Whitney went back to writing! 5% in I knew I would love this book, I just never knew how much! I adored every page of it and every plot twist (specially the ones I didn’t see coming). I wish this story never ended because I want to read more of it!

  • Brotherhood in Death (In Death #42)by J.D. Robb5 stars: This has got to be one of my favorite books in the In Death series. I always love when they show us Eve and Roarke’s day-to-day lives and their routine and how they are apart from Eve’s investigations. This time it focused a lot on one of my favorite characters, Mr. Mira and I loved it! Roarke as usual is amazing. But what I love the most about this book is how Eve doesn’t even realise how much she’s changed and that she lets herself care for people, her officers, her detectives and her friends. I feel like a weight has been lifted from her shoulders in every book and it’s been a pleasure to see it.

  • Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa5 stars –  This book was my find of the year! I found it in a picture on Instagram and I just HAD to read it. The cover is BEAUTIFUL. In the photo I saw it, the person compared the hero of Rhapsodic, Desmond, to Rhysand from ACOMAF and I love that book. And boy, does Des give Rhys a run for his money! I think Rhapsodic is more mature and the story is very original. The author’s writing style is SO GOOD! I really liked the way the story was built and written, it spans from the past (7/8 years before) to the present in a perfect way. To understand the main characters, Des and Callie, we need to know how they met and what happened 7 years before. I kept falling in love with Des (and this book) in every chapter, from present to past. This is a book you simply cannot pass, you HAVE TO READ IT!!!

  • Yours to Bare by Jessica Hawkins5 stars – This is a PHENOMENAL book! Yours to Bare is one of those rare books that make us think that if we had to choose only one more book to read, it would have to be it. It has the right amount of angst and the story flows so perfectly! The only flaw in this book is that it had to end! I believe it’s Jessica Hawkin’s best work so far ande I’m so happy I got to read it! Yours to Bare is provocative, romantic, tantalizing, angsty and so much more, you simply won[‘t be able to forget about it after  you read it!

  • The Hating Game by Sally Thorne5 stars – I LOVED this book! This is the kind of book that will for sure get you out of a “book funk”. It’s funny and light, but it’s also got substance. The story, just like the characters, is more than what it seems at first.

Have you read any of those books?
Tell me in the comments! Also let me know how many books you red in 2016 and how many favorites you had!

XOXO

Carol’s Favorite Books of 2015

image

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a Happy Tuesday!!! 🙂

So, it’s almost the end of January and I still haven’t posted my list of Favorites of 2015! I know, I know…I’ve been running around and enjoying my Summer Break (although it’s only now sunny here since it was freaking raining and kinda cold – cold for Brazilians ahaha).

So, here it is my list. Before I start, there are a few things to say first. I read 305 books last year, which I don’t consider much, but I had a REALLY crazy year, so I’m giving myself a free pass! LOL

From these 305 books I marked 41 as favorites and narrowed them down to 32.

As usual I’m going to list them in the order I read them, mostly because I can’t choose ANYTHING so choosing one or more between my favorites is just unfair to me! LOL

There’s something I’m doing though, in  my Favorites of 2014 list I chose an author I still love as my find for the year, because it was the year I discovered her  and her books (it was Stylo Fantôme by the way! 😉 ), this year my find of the year, the new author I found and really impressed me in 2015 is Cecilia London, author of the Bellator Saga!

Most of them I haven’t reviewed on the blog, but I post my opinions on most of what I read in Goodreads (if you want you can send me a friend request HERE – I have OCD-like shelves so if you want to know my opinions on books it’s pretty easy through my selves!) and EVERY book I read I also rate on GR!

And before I don’t stop talking, let’s get this list started (in the order I read them from January to December).

  • Past Heaven by Laura Ward – 5 stars This was a BEAUTIFUL story, one of the most beautiful I’ve read.
  • The Deal (Off-Campus #1) by Elle Kennedy – 5 starsThis is a NA book, but such a great one! Elle Kennedy’s mastered the art of the romantic comedies in my opinion, because the balance between funny, romance and sexiness in this book is PERFECT!
  • Victorious (Quantum #3) by M.S. Force – 5 stars Holy Hotness, Batman!!! This has gotta be one of hottest books I’ve ever read!!
  • Asking for It (Asking for It #1) by Lilah Pace – 5 stars This book was an addictive read, I read it faster than usual because I couldn’t put it down. It has such a GRIPPING storyline and it was so hot and forbidden!! The sequel was pretty amazing too!!!
  • End of Day (Jack & Jill #1) by Jewel E. Ann – 5 stars This book was my first book by Jewel E. Ann and it was a great first!! End of Day has an intricate storyline, there are two stories going on and not once we get lost or mix them. Plus I completely fell in love with Luke and his argyle socks!!! Also the book is currently on SALE!!
  • Magic Shifts (Kate Daniels #8) by Ilona Andrews – 4.5 stars This is my favorite PRN/Fantasy series and I’ve read (and still read) a LOT of them! The universe Ilona Andrews (they are a couple who writes together) created is simply amazing, all the details and how they make the story flow without losing their touch. Plus Kate Daniels is a BADASS heroine!!
  • Middle of Knight (Jack & Jill #2) by Jewel E. Ann – 4.5 stars –  Middle of Knight left lots of questions and I’m fortunate to have read the last book, Dawn of Forever, already (it’ll come out in February) and I can say the whole story remained so consistent! I absolutely loved Jewel’s writing!!
  • Sojourn (Bellator Saga #3) by Cecilia London5 stars I haven’t written my review for Sojourn yet (even though I read it in October – I know, bad blogger), but I can say it is a FLAWLESS book! Cecilia once again blows us away with her talent and what she’s doing with this series! Oh and there are news coming about the first 3 books *wink wink*
  • Breaking Leila (Knives & Flowers #1) by Lucy V. Morgan – 5 stars This book was recommended to me by Stylo Fantôme and it didn’t disappoint at ALL! It’s a FANTASTIC book and I absolutely LOVED Lucy’s writing style! I LOVE when authors create characters that don’t apologize for who they are (like Stylo herself also does so well)!
  • Breaking Joseph (Knives & Flowers #2) by Lucy V. Morgan – 5 stars The sequel to Breaking Leila is just as good as the first book. I REALLY liked how Lucy kept the consistency in the story and in her characters and in the end didn’t change them from who they were. That takes courage and I LOVE that, and we can see the story loved it too because it worked so well!!!
  • Torment Me (Rough Love #1) by Annabel Joseph – 5 stars This book was phenomenal, it has the perfect ammount of angst and kink. It’s provocative and sexy and taboo and very well written. It’s very different from anything I’ve read before. The sequel is also a GREAT book, also 5 stars, and even though I chose only the first as a favorite, I loved both.
  • Iniquity (The Premonition #5) by Amy A. Bartol – 5 stars – I have missed Amy’s writing and it was amazing to get back to Evie and Reed’s world! I LOVE how this story is going, how all the books led us to where they are now and I can’t wait for more of this new phase in the story. Amy created an amazing tale of love and friendship with the Premonition series, plus some badass HAWT angels!!!!
  • First Touch (First and Last #1) by Laurelin Paige – 5 stars I finished  my favorites of the year with an AMAZING fbook (it was also the last book I read in 2015)! I absolutely LOVED this book and I can’t wait for the sequel. It lives up to all the buzz it got before it was released and it’s still getting. I’m writing a review for it soon!!

2015 was a year for me to be pickier too, so there weren’t as many 5 stars (or even 4) reads as usual, but I had a LOT of good and  GREAT reads in 2015 even if though some of them didn’t make it favorite. I already have 3 books in my Favorites of 2016 list (and 28 read), so I’m looking forward to reading more this year!! 🙂

Thanks to all the amazing writers out there and for their imagination, because of them we get to read so many books! And here’s to a great year of reading!!! Happy reading, everyone!!

XOXO

Carol’s Favorite Books of 2014

image

Hello  everyone!!

First of all, let me wish you a proper HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2015 bring a lot of happiness and books to you!!

I finally get to post about my favorite books of 2014. I read 355 books in 2014, my goal was 350 a hundred less than 2013.

And from these 355 books, I had about 80 listed favorites, but I took some down, which was harder, and here are my 55 favorites for this past year. I will list them by order of reading and I won’t compare them and rate them between each of them, that way it’ll be all fair. They all stand a place in my favorites, so they all deserve the same recognition!

BUT, when asked I always say my most favorite book of the year was The Saint by Tiffany Reisz, because I can’t remember all of them by heart.

And there’s a new category I’m adding…my favorite series/debut author of the year. It is by far The Kane Trilogy (Degradation, Separation and Reparation) by Stylo Fantôme! She did an outstanding job with this books and you can’t say she is a “newbie” by reading them. But I’m getting ahead of myself and you’ll see all of those on my list below!

For some of the series only one or two are favorites, but it doesn’t mean I didn’t like the others, I mostly did, but I liked one or two books in the series better, so they remained favorites. Some series aren’t in order, because as I said, I’m listing them by order of read. I’m also adding the links to my reviews (for the ones I wrote them)!  Enjoy!

  • Lifers by Jane Harvey – Berrick –  5 stars – (Full review HERE)
  • Unravel by Calia Read – 5 stars (Review HERE) – Powerful full on angst read
  • Therapy by Kathryn Perez – 5 stars Powerful full on angst read
  • Making Faces by Amy Harmon – 5 stars – AMAZING BEAUTIFUL story
  • Left Drowning by Jessica Park – 5 stars – angsty read, one of the best books I’ve ever read in my life!!!
  • Rock Bottom (Tristan & Danika #2) by R.K. Lilley – 5 stars – again I LOVE this series, but this one is MY FAVORITE FROM THE WHOLE SERIES. Tristan is PERFECT and this one wrecked me!!!! ❤
  • Breakable (Contours of the Heart #2) by Tammara Webber – 5 stars – I liked this one better than Easy, which is one of my favorite books. I also met Tammara here in Brazil in November and she’s a sweetheart! I’ve had already read the book when it released here, but I got a signed Portuguese copy now!!
  • Falling (Fading #3) by E.K. Blair – 5 stars  – this is another that I liked his POV than hers and Fading is also one of my favorite books! This book was awesome! Loved Ryan’s POV and there’s more about their present/future too!
  • Push by Claire Wallis – 5 stars – I’m struggling with this one, because book 1 was absolutely FANTASTIC and although there’s a cliffhanger I’d like to forget I read the sequel, because unfortunately it didn’t live up to the first book’s awesomeness…I prefer to think the shocking (and so GOOD) cliffy ending was the real ending, because the story got flat in book 2. The first half of it was good and then it felt like it was just a filling plot.
  • Bang (Black Lotus #1) by E.K. Blair – 5 stars – This book was such a mind f*** and so freaking GOOD! From page 1 it held my attention! Book 2 can’t come soon enough!!
  • Mid Life Love (Mid Life Love #1) by Whitney Gracia Williams – 5 stars – This book was just AWESOME! It has a CEO, which is my weakness/guilty pleasure in books, but it’s different than what I’ve read before! I like both this one and the sequel, but this one is my favorite!
  • Kiss the Sky (Calloway Sisters #1) by Krista & Becca Ritchie – 5 stars –  This spin-off from The Addicted series is so, so good!! Connor Cobalt was such a SURPRISE! He’s like Chuck Bass (from Gossip Girl – the tv show, not the books)!!
  • Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey – 5 stars (Full review HERE) – R.S. Grey is another author who scored a place on my go-to, auto-click authors. I LOVE her sense of humor and her characters are the BOMB!!!
  • Reciprocity (Breach #3) by K.I. Lynn – 4.5 stars – God, Nathan and his filthy mouth!! I’ve missed him since last year!! This series is just so freaking GOOD! I love the characters and their struggle. They felt real and relateable and I love how we see their day-to-day lives in the books!
  • Outlander (Outlander #1) by Diana Gabaldon – 5 stars – Do I need to say anything more than James Fraser????!!! SWOOONS! Although this book is so long it should be considered at least 2 books on my GR Challenge lol.
  • Dragonfly in Amber (Outlandert #2) by Diana Gabaldon – 5 stars – This one is just as amazing if not even better! I absolutetly LOVED it!! The whole series is a favorite of mine, although I’m still on half of book 4…
  • Rainfall by Melissa Delport – 5 stars (Full review HERE) – This book was POWERFUL and so well written it is still with me. This story is incredibly brilliant!
  • Playing in the Rain by Jane Harvey-Berrick – 5 stars – Even though this is a short story, it isn’t short of talent and emotion. True talent can’t be measured by the size of the author’s book. This story is beautiful and although it’s short it has everything it should (and more)! It made me cry, laugh, smile and fall in love between its pages!
  • The Book of Life (All Souls Trilogy #3) by Deborah Harkness – 5 stars – This series is one of my favorites and it doesn’t even feel like paranormal. It’s packed with history, mystery, adventure and even time-travel. This was a wonderful finale to the series!! Mini review HERE.
  • Wife Number Seven by Melissa Brown – 5 stars – This book was different from everything I’ve ever read! Really good!!
  • Blood and Bone by Tara Brown – 5 stars (Full Review HERE) – This book was such a mind-wreacking-f****ing!! LOVED it!!
  • Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright – 5 stars – This is a paranormal and seriously one of the HOTTEST books I’ve ever read. But it also has a GREAT story!!
  • Magic Breaks (Kate Daniels #7) by Illona-Andrews – 5 stars – This book was just WOW! This is one of my favorite paranormal series and in this book Illona-Andrews were spot on!! It’s the reason I love paranormals. The story is amazing and everything connects. The ending was such a surprise and I can’t wait to see what comes now!
  • The Story of Me (Carnage #2) by Lesley Jones – 5 stars – Again this is the case where both books are good, but I just LOVED the sequel more. This book  was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!
  • The Year We Hid Away (The Ivy Years #2) by Sarina Bowen – 5 stars – As I mentioned I LOVED getting to know Sarina’s books this year. This is the second book in the series, but it’s about different characters from book 1, although they are in this one too! Loved it as much as The Year We Fell Down.
  • Degradation (The Kane Trilogy #1) by Stylo Fantôme – 5 stars (Full review HERE). This is THE debut series in my opinion and Stylo is my AMAZING finding for this year! I’ve recommended these books for so many people, they are just incredible and she maintained the character’s and story’s consistency during the whole series!!
  • The Education of Sebastian (The Education of…#1) by Jane Harvey-Berrick – 5 stars – Well, I’m a HUGE Jane Harvey-Berrick fan and I’ve read The Education of Caroline like 2 years ago. It’s a sequel, but it can be read as a standalone and when I read it I decided to skip the first book because of the age difference, because I thought it would bother me and how silly I was. I missed on this AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL story for almost two years. I love, love, LOVE The Education of Caroline (my favorite between the two of them), but this first book is just so incredible! Knowing the charactes from years before I got to understand them even better than I did. I can see how they grew up and how they learned with their past.
  • With the Father by Jenni Moen – 5 stars – You can say I have a weakness for priests as well, but this book is different than ANYTHING I’ve ever read in my life. It was such an incredible suprise. When I finished I had such a WTF moment! Jenni Moen did amazing with this one and it takes talent and balls to write a story like this! She was featured on my Favorite Books of 2013 list with the Joy series and here she is again. And the funny thing is that I didn’t realize she was  the author of the Joy series after I read With The Father! This is a truly brilliant story!
  • Bait (Wake #1) by M. Mabie – 5 stars – This book is full on agnsty, but it hurts so good! I absolutely fell in love with the hero and I can’t wait for book 2! I just want to hug Casey and never let go!!!
  • Ten Below Zero by Whitney Barbetti – 5 stars  This book is incredible! Pefectly written and amazing story!!
  • Addicted After All (Addcited #3) by Krista & Becca Ritchie – 5 stars – This was the perfect ending to Lily and Lo’s story! I look forward to seeing more of them in the last Calloway sisters books.
  • Nine Minutes (Nine Minutes #1) by Beth Flynn – 5 stars – this book was EPIC! It’s hard to explain this book without giving anything away. It’s amazing and it’s something you have to experience for yourself to understand why I freaked out after I finished! Beth is an amazing, talented debut author. I wish I found more books like this!
  • The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon – 5 stars – Simply BEAUTIFUL! Amy Harmon is so talented and writes such powerful stories!!
  • The Sect by Courtney Lane – 4.5 stars – This book was creppy, super dark, disturbing and ultimately BRILLIANT! I loved it and Courtey seems to be only improving her writing!
  • Chasing the Tide (Reclaiming the Sand #2) by A. Meredith Walters – 5 stars – this was the perfect closure to Ellie and Flynn story! It’s the closure that was missing in the epilogue of Reclaiming the Sand. Their story is simply beautiful and A. Meredith Walters words are poetry and flow so well!
  • Easy Virtue (Virtue #1) by Mia Asher – 5 stars – Mia gives us an anti-heroine in this book and she is a great character. I love how Mia doesn’t sugarcoat Blaire’s flaws and I also love both male characters in this book!!
  • Amour Amour by Krista & Becca Ritchie – 4.5 stars – Reading this book felt like I was watching a movie. A real good one!

***************

There is actually one more book, but I didn’t list it because it’s a book in Portuguese, by a Brazilian author. It’s called Encontrada (Found) and it’s the sequel of a book that I didn’t like that much (3 stars). But Encontrada is definitely a 5 stars read and I was pleasantly suprised by how much I liked it!! Specially because I don’t like brazilian authors besides our classics.

***************

Now..wanna check my List of Favorite Books of 2013 also? Here is the LINK.

Now…I already have 16 read books in 2015 and I have about 3 favorites (Contessa by Lori Otto, The Virgin by Tiffany Reisz and The Traveling Man by Jane Harvey-Berrick)!!

XOXO

My Favorite Reads of 2013

Hi everyone!!!

I hope all of you had an AMAZING New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day!

2013 was a very great year for me! Family and I were healthy, I graduated college (my degree is in International Business), I started my blog , met amazing and wonderful new friends from all around the world and I reached (and surpassed) my reading goal for the year!

And that is what I’m gonna talk about tonight. My favorite reads of 2013!

My Goodreads Reading Challenge started with 300 books that I later upgraded to 350 and until Dec 31st I finished with 400 read books! I feel so happy about it!

I just finished exporting all my books from Goodreads to an Excel sheet. I am  a CONTROL FREAK when it comes to my reading and I love making lists for everything! I usually have my own Excel sheet to keep track of all my read books for the year…my GR will show I read about 390 books last year, but the remaining 10 book I need to keep track by my own sheet, because they are Brazilian books that aren’t on GR…

It’s a good thing I have a GAZILLION shelves on GR, that way I can keep track of my favorite books…I have an all-times-favorites shelf and that is the one I’m narrowing down…So from my 400 read books, I have 136 in this favorite shelf, but I’m not gonna post about all of them, so I’m gonna try to narrow it down more…and it’s gonna be hard!

But first I’d like to state that I’m not doing a list with positions and preferences between  my favorites. I don’t think it’s fair to list a favorite book better than another, specially because they are all so different…everyone knows I love dark books, but just because a book is not dark it doesn’t mean I don’t like it…I have a lot of non-dark amazing books that I read. I have many, many 5 star readings that didn’t make the favorite list, and even between the favorites, since they are so different, the way I love them is also different…So no preferences here, it’s already hard to choose the favorites 🙂

Also, not all of them were published in 2013, this is a list about the books I read in 2013…There will be all kinds of books, from dark, to erotica, to paranormal, to romance…I have also a few novellas in the original 136 books list, but they aren’t going to be featured here…So, since there’s no positions between what book is more favorite, the books will be listed by series in alphabetical order and then by date of reading (if a book is part of series and it isn’t alphabetically ordered is because I haven’t read the sequel, or the sequels didn’t make the list)…This way I can be more fair! I hope you enjoy it!! 🙂

CAROL’S FAVORITE BOOKS OF 2013

  • Breach (Breach #1) by K.I. Lynn –  5 stars  (This book has the best written prologue I’ve ever read)
  • The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden (The Coincidence #1) by Jessica Sorensen – 5 stars  – This was the first book I read in 2013! (Check here My Review)
  • The Redemption of Callie & Kayden (The Coincidence #2) by Jessica Sorensen – 5 stars (Check here My Review)
  • The Lonely (The Lonely #1) by Tara Brown – 5 stars – This is the first book by Tara Brown I’ve read and it BLEW ME AWAY! One of my favorite dark readings for sure! Not only Tara is super talented but now, after so much interacting – and stalking on my part LOL – I’m proud to call her my friend! (Check here My Review)
  • The Siren (The Original Sinners #1) by Tiffany Reizs – 5 stars This whole series are AMAZING!! Amazingly written, shocking, off the charts hot and dark and very bdsm-ish!!!

Book 4 in The Original Sinners series (The Mistress) is equally good, but as I read the last 4 books in one day I got really immersed into the Original Sinners world and I got a little pissed about some stuff that happened…Tiffany was so great though, answering my frantic emails and helping me shading some light to my confused mind! I am remaining true to my first feeling though, even thought I rated it high, it didn’t make the favorites list…but the series are probably on my top 10 favorite series of all times – the short stories are GREAT too and I CAN’T WAIT for the new 4 books in the series, they are gonna be prequels *squeee* SUPER EXCITED!))

  • Undeniable (Undeniable #1) by Madeline Sheehan – 5 starsEverything about this book is supposed to be wrong, but somehow its wrongness only make it more right! It was a CRAZY AMAZING reading and I loved it!!!

And last , but not least:

Well it was a long list (I spent 3 days writing it, it’s 4 am here now LOL), but it wasn’t even 20% of my reading in 2013 LOL
I hope you enjoyed and feel free to comment 😉

XOXO

Carol
